Indeed, they have been released today. I'm currently playing Croft Manor with Legend's outfit.

So, are these outfits really for free or do you need to pay for them?

They are free, as I've said. I jest you not, [hehe] ! And they can be worn in any level, except the Mediterranean Sea (only in Treasure Hunt mode) since you don't get to pick your outfit for that level.

Yeah, they're free, or at least will be after a week. Then they'll be available for Silver members, too, and everyone who buys a 360 automatically gets a free Silver membership.

I hope you get to play the upcoming wetsuits in the Med in the story mode, everything else wouldn't make sense since they are designed for underwater levels [hehe]

A little offtopic, but may I ask what a Gold membership costs? And how often do you have to renew it, or in other words: could you get it for only 1-3 months?

You can buy a 3 month membership at amazon (20€). Buying it for a whole year would be cheaper in the end, of course.

When you connect your 360 for the first time, you have the option to test it for free, for a month, though. That's what I have atm, quite a nice timing for getting the outfits [hehe]

Indeed. I buy the year free package for $50 which saves money, but I think I'll start paying by the month; it's only $8 after all.

That is correct which means that you can make them with TexMod and they would be available to play with on a PC xD
But I'm really sorry for the Legend and Classic outfit :(

Yeah, me too. Seems like they're behind on lots of things right now...

I only know the outfit that everyone could vote, the one that looked like a blue drysuit... I'm curious for the second one.

Well the one that looked like the drysuit is a "catsuit" from what I've read, and if you ask me, that's just a poor excuse.

Very exciting news. Glad that we've finally gotten a confirmed date and squashed the rumours crawling about.

Oh I'm dangerously lacking in getting achievements for my games. I'm about too lazy to go through and see which ones I can easily do, not only for Tomb Raider but my other ones. I'm still having trouble getting the Swan Diver achievements. I know where they are, but they don't register through. I wonder what the new achievements and outfits are for BTA.

The playable character for the second part of the DLC has been releavled. It is none other than Lara [hehe] (only her dark version)

Quoted

“Play Tomb Raider from a different perspective and experience the world as a new playable character.

Play as a dark and deadly reflection of Lara Croft. Created as a sinister trick by Lara’s oldest foe, the Doppelganger possesses the strength, speed and raw power to put an end to the Croft lineage once and for all. Fulfill the mission and become the ultimate weapon of revenge.

Will feature new gameplay mechanics to be unveiled very soon.”

Will be uploading a render of Laras doppelganger soon.

Not much of a surprise. Hell, I even expected that. I'm still glad though; I'd love to play as the doppelganger.

I actually didn't think about it that much, when this was mentioned first I was not expecting to be playing it anytime soon, so I did not care much. But now I am glad it's not Amanda. Good or evil, Lara is Lara and much more fun to steer in a Tomb Raider game than any other character.
