I'm not sure exactly what sort of news you're looking for. I can tell you now though that no news has been released about the demo, or if there will even be one. It was discussed on the thread I posted earlier.

Most likely.
Weapons have not been announced in detail, but Lara will carry a kind of harpoon for the underwater levels and she will most likely find other weapons (rifles, grenade launchers...) throughout the game.

Weapons that have been confirmed:

Hand to Hand combat
Dual Pistols (Heckler and Koch USP Match)
Harpoon gun
Tranquillizer gun

Still outfits?

does anyone know if they're gonna keep the changeable outfits like they did in legend? it kinda gave you a reason to go back and play.

It hasn't been confirmed, but the fact that Lara has three outfits confirmed (Underworld, Underworld Pants, and Scuba), it's most likely.

I actually disapprove of the 30 some odd outfits. This is Tomb Raider, not Dress Up Lara. A few outfits wouldn't be bad, but the ones in Anniversary were terrible. Come on, Golden Lara?

There's only 3 confirmed outfits, and I'm praying there's no more than 7.

Yeah, I'd rather have a few very good-looking outfits than tons of boring ones.

For everyone who likes to dress her up over and over again there'll be lots of mods again, so everyone will be happy in the end. :-)

(Some mods for Legend and Anniversary are real eye candy and a lot better than some outfits that came with the game.)

Agreed. I mean, with Legend, I don't want to replay the levels half the time, I wanna run around Croft Manor in forty different outfits. I want to be able to enjoy the game, not the clothes. Which brings me to something else; I'm sick of people, mostly men, drooling over Lara for sexual reasoning. It's ridiculous, and Eidos makes it worse, especially in Legend with the skimpy outfits like swimsuits.

:ouch:

But regardless, I agree, I would rather have a few good outfits then a hundred of the same, but different colors. Whoop-dee-doo, [hehe]

Yeah, it is pointless to have many outfits, but I'm hoping there will be various(not one outfit in different color).

I've found a site that confirms it :-)

According to this source, a PSP version will be released, although I've not seen other articles relaying the exact same information. They do, however, say that the PSP version will be released after the other consoles, perhaps as late as March 09.

Release of TRU for PS2

Is Tomb Raider Underworld released in Florida yet? I've contacted alot of game stores here and not one of them has it. They all say December or January. Is that trure? :cry
