^ Yeah, it was far better than I expected. I was on the floor for a good portion of it.

And in keeping with my "10-year-old vs 19" thing, I watched 101 Dalmations on DVD this morning, and have seen the Jungle Book and Aladin this week. :-o :grins

My father rented 30 Days of Night and Gone Baby Gone, but I never got around to watching either one. However, Melissa George was in 30 Days of Night, which made me want to watch it, but I didn't.

^ I want to see Sweeney Todd.

I saw Indiana Jones [errr, something] and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade [III]. I do enjoy the third one :)

Oh, and IronMan. Not overly brilliant, but it did contain scenes of the Audi R8

Went to the cinema yesterday and watched the new Indiana Jones movie.
the Audi R8
I don't think that a car that takes 14,6l/100km is anything I would buy. And for 100.000€ you can get a flat or almost half a nice house. Or a "real" German car... *g* (11.8l/100km, but still far too much)

:-o :pinch  Nooooo!!!!! :P I will admit, however, that fuel efficiency is probably the last thing I look at in my dream car ;)

I watched Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull. Disappointing. Really, really disappionting...
(spoiler contains spoilers :grins )

Spoiler Spoiler

Aliens?! And then the Incan/Aztec/Mayan Temple (would they make up their minds, already?) is suddenly a UFO - that just disintegrates? 8|
And was anyone there thinking "Wait... I've seen this before. Oh wait - Tomb Raider"? I know I was

THIS is a real car.
I'm sorry, but it looks like the Batmobile... :D Interesting fact:
Fuel Consumption

The Veyron consumes more fuel than any other production car, using 40.4 L/100 km (6.99 mpg imp/5.82 mpg US) in city driving and 24.1 L/100 km (11.7 mpg imp/9.76 mpg US) in combined cycle. At full throttle, it uses more than 115 L/100 km (2.46 mpg imp/2.05 mpg US), which would empty its 100 L (26 US gal/22 imp gal) fuel tank in just 12 minutes 46 seconds. This is a safety measure studied by the engineers because after 15 straight minutes at 253 mph the tires would melt.
Disappointing. Really, really disappionting...
Well, yes, it was't the best... but I think it wasn't too bad, either. If they had left out the end it would have made an acceptable movie...

actually, if you push that car to its limit it uses a set of tires faster than as gas tank, so no worries :D

anyways, its excesses are part of its attractiveness :P
