Gaming Small Talk

I have just recently finished "Alone in the Dark" on my Xbox. :cheer Right now I am not really sure what to play.

My bf is constantly blocking the PS3 playing MY "Burnout Paradise"... :weird

So I am playing Devil May Cry 4 from time to time, but I don't really enjoy playing it again and again just to do the different difficulty settings and get all the Red Orbs and Proud Souls I can grab.

I've started playing Assassin's Creed yesterday. I am still missing some of the flags and could not be bothered to go looking for them until now.

Now I know what the others meant when they said the controls were difficult. I've completely forgotten everything. Took me ages to figure out how to throw yourself of a tower and I how to use the assassin's blade or the stolen knifes.

Am I the only one who's playing something at the moment? [hehe]

We have bought Batman Arkham Asylum today and I will begin playing in a moment.

I bought Batman: Arkham Asylum yesterday for PS3--I'm close to the end, I believe. Such a magnificent game!

Batman: Arkham Asylum is on my list of games I'll definitely buy, I really enjoyed playing the demo :-)

At the moment I'm playing Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. The enemies and the attacks are a bit repetitive, but it looks amazing and it's fun. Oh, and I'm still busy with my Resident Evil 5 run on Professional difficulty... no one wants to play co-op at the moment and AI Sheva always fails me by constantly running out into the open and dying in progress. I really don't recommend this setting for playing alone, at least grab yourself a partner for the last few chapters where everyone has guns. It's so frustrating otherwise because you're dead after one or two hits.

I've finished Batman (at least first round) and am currently playing TRU on PC to make screenshots.

I am also still playing BioShock, just like RedHell is playing RE, on hardest difficulty, to gain missing trophies.

@RedHell: The problem you describe is exactly why I have not bought the game yet. Now I waited so long, I can wait a little longer till it gets cheaper.

Well, it's doable on the easy and normal - and with a little but of luck on the harder - settings as well. In fact you can rush through the game on the first two settings really fast, even when playing alone. Just not on Pro, especially regarding certain bosses... I even tried cheating with the inifite rocket launcher, but that backfired because the AI partner always ran to where I was firing at the very moment :slapforehead

You could say I am now mainly playing BioShock.

I am proud of the progress I'm making in "Survivor Mode", though I am still too chicken to take on a Big Daddy to get the ADAM. (I was unable to beat the first one and am avoiding since them and just taking research pics of them.)

Now I play Tomb Raider 1 or 2 :)

but I would recommend Bloodrayne 2 - Rayne is great like Lara, but bloody ;)

:wave2: I've moved your posting to the correct spot. You were in the Tomb Raider Custom Levels sub forum before. ;-)

Has anyone completed Uncharted 2: Among Thieves yet? An absolutely phenomenal title.

Completed no. We only got is yesterday at 3 pm. Got lost in the mail on friday. And we are two people who have to play... ;-)

I find it very very challenging, especially since we are both playing it on hard to unlock "crushing" right away - at least I assume that "hard" unlocks "crushing" as this is how it was in part 1. ;-)

And did I mention I am afraid of helicopters. [hehe]
