Way down
Now we must solve tasks as Kurtis. He is controlled in a similar way to Lara. His weapon is a Boran X, which Kurtis designed himself. You can collect some Ammo to the right of your start point. Let yourself drop from the edge to get to the lower level. You can find more Ammo here. Hop across to the ledge at the side of the shaft and climb down the ladder. Jump back to the platform by the metal framework. It's a long jump, but Kurtis is quite nimble. Run around this platform to the other side, and drop down to the next level. There are health pills here. Once again, run around and drop down. Here must drop on to the roof of the elevator and then activate the trapdoor in its roof. Climb down two leaders. Jump from the left of the platform across to the higher level, grabbing where the railing is missing to pull yourself up. Go to the door and open it.
Dead guards
After you go through the door, a creature will be coming for you. Kill it. In the next chamber is a dead guard. Walk up to him. A video begins and you will see a second guard in the next room being dragged away by a creature - presumably the Proto. Collect the Ammo by the first guard. Move carefully into the next room, there is a critter there for you to kill. Something flog do it here also. Run to the right and go into the room before the end doorway. There you can talk to a prisoner for some extra information. He says that he and the other captives were meant to be food for the Proro-Nephilim but something went wrong and it ate the guards instead. After this conversation, go back outside.
Numeric code
Go to the barred door to your right. As you step up to it there is a cut-scene which shows Kurtis using his Far-See ability. This shows you a note with the numeric code for the door: 06289.
Creatures as far as the eye can see
Keep moving and open the next barred door. Behind it you must kill another creature. Go through the passage to the end and open the next door. Another creature lurks here as well. At the end of the corridor you can open a door. On the other side is yet another creature (it slowly becomes boring). In a chamber to your right is another creature. Frees the poor thing from its suffering and enter the chamber for there is chocolate there. Run back outside and follow the corridor along. The next creature comes to you as you approach.
Refectory
If you continue to run, you come to a refectory. There is a red-dressed creature running around here. Shoot this. To your right is a doorway with a numeric code on the wall next to it: 38471. Run into the cafeteria, where you will find some Ammo and more chocolate. And of course, another creature. This comes from behind the serving area. Otherwise there is nothing to do here for the time being, ignore the door in the right for the time being. Go back into the hallway and continue along. Kill the creature there. There is an open room here on the right but it has nothing in it. Likewise, the radio room opposite has nothing in it either.
ID card
Go through the door at the end of the corridor. Enter the rather gruesome next area, where there is some Ammo on the ground. On the right of this room is a dead researcher. Collect the medium security ID card which this Strahov assistant has dropped. Run back and head back to the refectory and go to the right hand door.
Refectory part 2
The doorway opens using the ID card. Go up the stairs just inside. At the top of the stairs, turning right, you will find a large medipack. Run the other direction, where you need ot jump over a gap. Here you will find an operating desk, where you need to enter the code number 38471. This opens the door downstairs which had the number beside it. Go through it, and open the door at the end of that corridor.
Ventilation shafts and laboratory
First, run to the right, yawn, and kill a creature. A video starts, showing you a scene taking place in the laboratory - the monster snatches the next researcher. Since there were error messages again and again, I made two save games before and after the video. (Don't be surprised if you end up with a completely different inventory if you use these). Keep running to the open door. This leads to the end of a ventilation shaft. Crawl through and stand up at the end. Jump and grab opposite this tunnel and pull up into the next bit of shaft. Jump down at the end into the laboratory (is this smart? Really?). You can see another couple of creatures through the glass. Leave them, you may need your bullets. Open the next sextion of the ventilation shaft and crawl inside. Do the jump and grab again to access the next area.
Chamber with fan
You see a cut scene in which the monster is lunching on a guard - the poor thing is probably constantly hungry from all it's jumping about. After the video, jump down and collect the Ammo. Shoot one of the yellow gas containers. The explosion will known down the broken ladder, letting you pull yourself up. Pull the switch to turn off the fan. Climb back down and crawl through the gap. The monster has already moved on.
Way into the secure wing
Crawl into the ventilation duct on the floor. You come out in a corridor. Left is a locked door, which presumably leads back where you came. Run to the right. This takes you to the secure wing.
