RE: Peru - Tomb of Qualopec

In Level 4, Tomb of Q I'm encountering something that feels like a glitch and I don't know how to move on.

I go from the start of the level to the room with the stone bridge and then to the opening above the entrance and pull the switch etc. and "Checkpoint" shows on the screen. I save the game and move on and die trying to get back. Here's the glitch, when I load the saved game I'm not up over the entrance but at bridge level at the entrance and the bridge is broken in both places but the gate across the way isn't open. I continued back to the opening over the entrance but the switch had already been pulled.

I started over from the beginning of the level and the same thing happened again. Does anyone have a suggestion about how to resolve this or just move on???

Thanks, Jim

RE: Peru - Tomb of Qualopec

Hello all,

Having trouble similar to Jim above - Have pulled down both switches in the left and right right passage. Then instead of heading into the actual tomb, I went the in opposite direction which led back out. When I get stuck out there, I head back to the tomb realizing I had gone the wrong way with the idea of looking for the tunnel that should have the gates opened by now. Course, that's after reviewing the walkthrough and seeing that in theory I'm about done with this section. But when I get back to the middle section and head for the correct tunnel, its closed, gate drawn. Assuming that after having died somewhere in-between or simply stopped playing, I dont remember which, that maybe one of the levers is back up again and that maybe I need to bring it back down I redo the left and right tunnels. But no, both levers are down and there isnt anything pending. ??? So now what, levers/switches are down but the entrace to the tomb is still closed. Now what? Anybody had this before? Do I have to do it all over again? Looks like a glitch to me...Thanks in advance!!!!

Did you notice that there were three gates? One is opened by the lever in the left passage, the other by the one in the right... and the third one is inside the main chamber (you need to find a spot to climb up.)

Without seeing it, I get the feeling that you have missed the third lever.

If you have trouble finding it, you might want to look at the walkthrough again: http://tombraidergirl.com/tra/peru4.php under "2. Central Chamber", it's described at the end of the paragraph.

Question (Peru)

In the Tomb of Qualopec level, the VERY first "obstacle", the pit with the poles and horizontal bar in it, if you go into the pit at one end there is a stone and when you go up to it and hit the up arrow it says "find a weak spot" and you feel around with a shovel. I have been trying to find the weak spot but can't. Please help me out? Thanks

That's a Wii question, right? I am sorry, I cannot help you there.

Maybe you can find your answer in this (or the next) video:
